River Sisters is a ministry for all the women of River of Life. The ministry purpose is enable women to develop a love for GOD, to mature in JESUS and to be equipped to reach others for CHRIST. The ministry at River of Life is first and foremost for spiritual growth, then to provide ministries to support and encourage women to grow in their many roles: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, employee, employer, and friend. River Sisters lead ministry team plans and coordinates several different events during the year to help the women of the church to enjoy growing in Christ, participate in times of lighthearted fellowship, and reaching out through mentoring and encouraging one another in order to accomplish their purpose.

Fight Club is a men’s discipleship resource developed by men, for men, to reach men- to turn the tide on mediocrity and cause men to stand and say “not on my watch. This 10-week challenge will give you gut-checking discipline. It will push you out of your comfort zone.  It will demand self-reflection, and realization that you are not in this Fight alone. This program will challenge you, but God made men to be challenged, and that is what has been missing in our culture.  You will build Camaraderie with other Christian men. You will be challenged with other Christian men. You will be held accountable by other Christian men. You will grow closer to God and  family.

At River of Life we believe that children are special to the heart of God as evidenced by Matthew 19:14  ‘Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”’
Because of that, our River Kids services utilize curriculums that will teach your kids the Word of God in a creative, fun, and age-appropriate way.  Our heart is that Jesus be at the center of it all. We strive to create a safe sanctuary with engaging environments that will help your child grow in wisdom, stature, and in favor with both God and man.

The Praise & Worship Ministry covers everything from singing and playing instruments to multi-media.
At River of Life we want to do everything we possibly can to continually point Youth to Jesus and a lifetime of walking closely with our God. Our youth program is threefold: Love, Truth, and Prayer. These are not just words. These are action words; words that are lived out by our youth leaders and volunteers and supported by our church staff and church family. Love, truth, and prayer are more than capable to combat a modern world that has created so many distractions and temptations for our children and young adults. We’re a fun youth group.
We’re diverse. We’re always entertaining. And we’re excited to grow in God’s grace with you. Come check us out!

The Outreach Ministry includes opportunities to help in the areas of evangelism, missions, jail & prison ministry and visitation—both home and hospital. If you want to reach out to others with the love of God, consider signing up to help in one of these areas.

If you can type, answer telephones, stuff envelopes, work in graphic design or newsletter layout, clean, cook or any
number of other things, we are always in need of help around the office.

Men who are interested in sharing with believers and potential believers behind prison walls, join us to chase away the darkness with the LIGHT on the first Sunday of each month. It will be an experience that will leave you changed and that will change lives forever by proclaiming Liberty to the captives that they may be set free, for when we are free in Jesus we are free indeed!

This ministry is made up of many teams: Parking, Greeters, Hosts, and Ushers. The primary goal is to see that visitors are so “touched” by the genuineness of the Welcome Ministry Team, the Music, the Message and the Ministry of the Church, they will become a regular attendee after just one Sunday.
This ministry is an opportunity for the church to serve one another in a practical way. There are times when someone within the church body is suddenly facing a difficult situation or has had surgery or a new baby and having meals prepared for them would be a huge help.
